Welcome to our Big Bear cabin, which we offer at a below-market rate for solo and family creative retreats most weekdays.
Here you'll find yourself a 5-minute drive from all that Big Bear has to offer and walkable to the convention center & snow play. The slopes are close, and hiking trails are found in all directions outside our front door. When you're ready to relax, let this private cabin be your getaway for rejuvenation and creative retreat: soothe your muscles in the jacuzzi; build a roaring, restful fire in our stone fireplace (or blast the Central AC) & refuel your body and lift your creative spirit using our kitchen.

THE SPACE
Located in a quiet neighborhood , you're provided a restful and scenic place to relax at the end of a long day (adherence to 10pm quiet hours is a must — as we have neighbors & Big Bear loves it's peace and quiet). You’ll love waking in the morning with a hot cup of coffee or tea and watching the sunlight stream into the living room through the trees. Let this light-filled living space be your creative launchpad while enjoying Big Bear's best attractions.
Charming stained glass details capture the morning sunlight for early birds and late-risers alike, while in the afternoon our western facing windows refract golden-hour sunsets. Families will enjoy space for kids and parents (and medium pets, with a $50 extra pet fee) with the option of separate bedrooms and no interior stairs to complicate safety. A smart TV above the fireplace & an assortment of puzzles and games contribute to restful creative recharge. High speed internet allows guests to log a day of remote work or focus on their projects.
Note: We love our furry friends, and do allow pets with a fee. While we pride ourselves on an enhanced clean (linens will always be fresh, home always vacuumed and couch lint rolled between each stay) we can not guarantee a pet hair free environment (pet owners, we know you understand!). Those with allergies, please proceed with caution!
CAMERAS
We do have cameras on the property (exterior only — front porch & backyard) and only review footage if there is damage or theft. Backyard coverage does include the hot tub (since it's a small yard, it's impossible to avoid), but host does not watch the cameras unless needed to review for damage to ensure your privacy! Tampering or removing these cameras will result in cancellation of stay.
KEURIG
We have a Keurig (along with a French Press), and provide 4-5 pods per stay, along with reusable pods + grounds.
Wood
We do not provide wood, however 0.5 miles away you will find a drive-thru Wood pick up called Lit Firewood. They are cash only. Vons & all local gas stations also sell firewood. Also, often people leave wood behind! (There is a $50 fee for not removing ashes at the end of your stay.)
PROPANE
For the grill, there is a Propane tank for your use — but we can not guarantee that it is full. You can fill up at the Gas Station 0.5 miles away!
SNOW SAFETY
We have a flat driveway and plow after each snow fall. If needed, there is walkway salt + a shovel near under the front porch.
